Satisfaction with value for money increases to five year high

Satisfaction with value for money among water customers has increased to a five year high according to CCWater's annual 'Water Matters' survey, published this week. More than three-quarters of customers are now reporting satisfaction for both water and sewerage services, an improvement of 5% since 2011.

The survey also found that customer satisfaction with the quality of their tap water and sewerage services remains very high, at 93% and 91% respectively.

Water companies will continue to work hard to drive further improvements and will continue to take action to improve affordability.

Average bills for water and wastewater customers are set to fall by around 5% in real terms between 2015 and 2020 and water companies are allocating millions of pounds of funding each year to help customers struggling to pay their bills.
