Customer complaints fall for the seventh successive year

CC Water’s latest data confirms that the sustained efforts and considerable investments made by water companies are leading to much improved services for their customers, with complaints falling for the seventh successive year.
This report reinforces CC Water’s recent research which found that 94% of customers are satisfied with their water supply.
Despite these encouraging results, water companies are committed to continuing to seek improvements and drive down complaints even further.
The launch by the industry of an independent dispute resolution scheme this year also offers the prospect of further downward pressure on overall complaint figures. This scheme delivers a binding resolution for customers in the very few cases which reach deadlock at the end of the current complaints process.
