Water companies are here to help

These are unprecedented timesNo part of our society or economy is unaffected by the crisis we are currently facing, and everyone has a part to play in getting the nation through it 

The water industry is no exceptionAcross the sector we have been working hard to ensure customers continue to enjoy the same world class service they’ve come to expect.  

The last thing anyone wants to be worrying about at a time like this is their water supply, or how they are going to pay their bills. That’s why I want you to know that water companies are here to help and will continue to provide clean, safe, reliable drinking water for everyone.

Finally, you may see water company personnel out on the streets during this time. It is vital that we continue to maintain our network and deal with any problems, which is why they’re officially designated as key workers by the GovernmentSo, if you see someone repairing a pipe or dealing with a leak feel free to give them a wave but please don’t approach them. The water industry’s priority is to keep customers and colleagues safe at this time so staff will be following the Government guidance on social distancing.
