Water Saving Week (22-28 March) sets daily challenges to help get us all thinking about the importance of saving water.
Thursday was Water and Money day, encouraging us to use the quick calculator from CCWater to check whether it might be cheaper to have a water meter installed.
Water metered households tend to use less water overall, so metering is one good way to help manage our limited water resources and our costs.
Changing demands on our water supply mean that is more important than ever to take care with how we use water. Our growing population, changing lifestyles and increasingly erratic weather patterns have led to ever increasing pressure on our water supply and a steady increase in the amount of water we use.
Taking positive action now can help to ensure that there is enough water to go round, for people, for businesses and for the environment.
