Perspectives on leakage

The annual Leakage Conference in October brings policy and regulatory perspectives from Ofwat, the Environment Agency and CCWater in an event that will see water industry presentations and debate on current issues, trends and challenges. The conference will be chaired by Martin Baggs, CEO Thames Water.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Nicci Russell, Director, Ofwat, who will cover the regulator's new duty of resilience and look ahead to the next price review, PR19;
  • Trevor Bishop, Deputy Director - Water, Land and Biodiversity, Environment Agency, who will focus on taking forward the priority recommendations from the SELL report and the importance of monitoring and publishing data on leakage performance; and
  • Deryck Hall, Head of Policy & Research, CCWater, who will explore different company approaches to leakage and consumers' views on leakage management.

The conference on Thursday 15 October at Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre has a pre-event dinner on the evening of Wednesday 14 October.
