Cyber security principles for the water industry

Water UK has produced a set of principles and recommendations to help its members address the risks posed to water and waste water services by cyber related threats. In drawing this work together, the industry engaged with stakeholders, government and regulators.

The fast pace of the risks from and understanding of cyber threats means that the industry needs to be constantly reviewing and revising its practices.

Supporting this report is the strategy produced by Defra in March 2017. This is available here.

DCMS are running a scheme for apprenticeships as part of the drive to upskill the UK in managing the risks posed by cyber.
