Water UK response to Ofwat discussion paper on risk and return

Our view is that the proposals set out in the discussion paper could have a significant negative impact on customers and the environment. They are not consistent with the supportive investment atmosphere that is needed for PR24 in order to meet the long-term interests of customers and the environment, and do not respect the outcome of the recent water determinations by the CMA and the checks and balances in the regulatory system.
