People will be able to refill water bottles for free in tens of thousands of places in England in future following the announcement of a new national scheme by the water industry today (25th Jan). It’s estimated that the new scheme will cut plastic bottle use by tens of millions each year.

Following the publication of the Environment Bill in October 2019, Water UK made recommendations for amendment and additions. This provided the basis for our submission to the EFRA Select Committee Inquiry on 1 November 2019.

Water UK has produced a set of principles and recommendations to help its members address the risks posed to water and waste water services by cyber related threats.
