Landlord TAP is a website that gives landlords and managing agents of properties in England and Wales a quick and easy way to provide water companies with details of those responsible for the payment of water and/or sewerage charges.

Once registered, a landlord simply fills out the forms on the Landlord TAP website to provide the required information for their tenanted properties quickly and easily. This is passed on to the relevant water company automatically, and a reference is provided for the landlord records.

The Landlord TAP website allows landlords to:  

• Add details of new properties
• Make changes to tenant details, including changes of tenancy
• Update details when a property becomes empty
• Update details if they sell or stop managing a property

The website is intended for all types of landlords in England and Wales – private landlords, estate agents and lettings agents, housing associations and councils.
