The influence of Water for Health Alliance has crossed the oceans to the state of Victoria in the land of Oz. A new resource kit Water for Wellbeing from the Victorian Continence Resource Centre (VCRC) draws on Water UK material.
The kit, targeted at the frail elderly, care workers and health providers, recognises the role of water as a vital nutrient and the personal cost to those suffering from dehydration and water malnutrition.
The VCRC is a not-for-profit organisation aiming to raise awareness of bladder and bowel problems and working towards the prevention and management of incontinence.
