Water UK responds to the Defra's consultation on the structure and content of draft environmental permitting guidance for exempt waste operations.
Water UK supports the broad aims of the Environmental Permitting regime, but believes further progress can be made by focusing on environmental outcomes and the long term objective on making the UK a recycling society.
