Pesticides report
The Voluntary Initiative on Pesticides has produced a report on the progress in the pilot catchments for water quality.
The VI is a collaboration between farmers, pesticide manufacturers, agronomists and others, aimed at reducing the impact of pesticides on the natural environment. Water UK is participating in the sub group looking at water quality, this is jointly funded by UKWIR and CPA. The report shows that there is some positive progress but a long way to go.
