The attached document is an output from a joint Environment Agency-water industry Task and Finish group to show the environmental regulatory framework as it applies to water industry wastes.
Please note: the schematics are a correct representation of the regulatory framework as of the date displayed in the footer. They are provided as a helpful guide and efforts will be made to update them at least annually but please refer to the Environment Agency’s website to check for any latest developments. Any waste generation or management scenarios not covered should be referred to the Environment Agency for advice.
