Response to Defra consultation on the Adaptation Reporting Power in the Climate Change Act 2008

Response: Water UK welcomes the flexibility in the draft proposals and supports the principles of better regulation.
One concern with the draft proposals is that the reporting power should align with and complement existing water industry action, duties and reporting frameworks. It should not be seen as an additional burden or result in separate reporting to Ofwat and government.
