Ofwat has published its final determinations on water and sewerage charges 2010-15.
Water UK will provide early comments on the regulators statement later this morning.
Release of final determinations is the penultimate formal stage in the 2009 water price review (PR09) in England and Wales.
In the coming weeks water companies will assess Ofwat's price limits and either accept or refer them to the Competition Commission for a final judgement. Companies must make their decisions known by 26 January 2010.
The industry worked with customers, stakeholders and regulators over the past two years to arrive at business plans that would meet the needs of consumers now and in the future. These 'final business plans' were published in April.
In September, Water UK responded to Ofwat's draft determinations warning that the price limits proposed could prove a false economy.
