Now in their ninth year, the Water Efficiency Awards celebrate best practice and aim to inspire organisations from all sectors to take action and use water wisely.
The Environment Agency has called for entries for the 2009 Awards, which recognise achievement in improving the use of an essential resource.
The Awards also promote efficient use of water by increasing awareness and demonstrating the cost effectiveness of investment in water-saving measures.
With climate change beginning to affect businesses in many different ways, companies across all sectors are becoming conscious of the benefits to themselves and their customers of using natural resources wisely.
Water UK is pleased to support the successful Environment Agency awards project.
Closing date for entries is 17 April. The awards ceremony take place on 15 July.
