The slogan adopted by The Climate Group of companies can be applied equally to waste, energy, transport and water - anywhere in fact where human behaviour influences use of universal services for good or ill.
The Climate Group is an independent organisation with a mission to catalyse business and government leadership on climate change and put the world on track for a low carbon economy.
But such a purpose is not limited to climate change. Increasingly in many other areas of consumption and behaviour, we are recognising that only by working together can we change attitudes and move further towards sustainable lifestyles.
Water efficiency is a clear case in point. Reducing wastage and promoting more efficient use requires a consistent, collaborative effort from a wide range of stakeholders.
This means, as the government-led Water Saving Group is illustrating, coordinated and integrated approaches based on information and awareness, regulation and incentives, with all parties working together.
