Findings from the 2008 Investor Survey were presented at the Water UK City Conference last month and now the final report has been released.
Investors are on the whole positive to the sector and the regulatory framework but uncertain about the implications of the 2009 Price Review (PR09). They, like many in the industry, are likely to be keen readers of Ofwat's Framework and approach to PR09 published last week (see below), in a search for the clarity they require.
As the Price Review proceeds over the next 18 months, all stakeholders can play a part in communicating with investors to provide the transparency and predictability essential to maintaining confidence in the sector.
