Experts from across the water industry are taking part in an extensive programme to ensure that British, European and international standards and procurement become more innovative and efficient.
The Water UK Standards Programme works behind the scenes to provide experience and technical representation at committee level to standards-setting in all areas of water delivery – wastewater management, collection, supply and treatment, drinking water quality and regulation.
This network of specialist water industry 'reps' has agreed objectives for faster standardisation, innovation and clearer procurement practices.
