Changes in the industry, the external marketplace and the economy are driving the need for a forum which considers the issues critical to the future of the sector. Water UK Future Forum provides this essential focus. It references Water UK’s detailed policy work and moves the debate on, inspiring thought leadership and helping the industry and its stakeholders look ahead to the challenges and opportunities in the future.
Future Forum activity can be standalone, as in the case of Investing in Infrastructure and Innovation Hub or provide a focus within existing activity, such as a Future Forum discussion panel at the City Conference 2013.
Futures Dinners
Water UK hosts a series of influential dinners throughout the year as part of the Future Forum. These exclusive evening events are held under Chatham House rule and bring together industry leaders with key stakeholders to explore particular issues facing the industry.

Innovation Hub 2013
19 June – London
Innovation Hub is not an event about new technology, it is about thinking differently, sharing ideas and changing the way we operate. Last year’s Hub focused on resilient water resources. In 2013, we will be continuing the debate, discussing the future needs of the industry against the future needs of the population, economy and environment.

Investing in Infrastructure 2013
September – London
Investment in UK infrastructure has for a while now been identified as a route out of the UK’s current economic crisis. Water UK hosts an annual pan-utility conference, bringing together all the infrastructure providers to highlight the common challenges and discuss policies that will enable investment.
